It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Mary Jo Neil of Drawn Dialogue, LLC, who has generously volunteered with our nonprofit, Respite Retreats, since 2023.
Respite Retreats provides retreats of respite to cancer patients, caregivers, and families, helping them pause and recharge through wellness programming and supportive community. Mary Jo has become an integral part of our in-person day retreats by offering deeply engaging applied improv workshops that use humor, presence, and play to create meaningful connection.
Her facilitation is warm, skillful, and inclusive—ensuring that everyone feels safe and empowered to participate. Participants consistently tell us how much they love her sessions, and many return to future retreats because of the lasting impression she leaves. Mary Jo not only brings laughter and lightness, but also helps our guests experience the therapeutic power of human connection through improv.
