Hi, I’m Mary Jo ….Art and humor have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember.
As a youngster, I had an accident in which i fell into the dishwasher and the steak knife cut my arm. My dad met my mom and me in the ER and I recall asking him to tell me jokes while they gave me 3 stitches. I didn’t need novocain, I just needed to laugh.
I was also a doodler and loved the margins of the paper. I would drawn the Sunday comics and went so far as to send one in for the comic competition. I would even draw get well cards for my uncle as he was battling cancer.
